How to Cook Rice in Instant Pot

• Place 1 cup of rice and 1 cup of water in the Instant Pot. Cover and cook using the Rice setting for 10 minutes. Once the cooking is complete, perform a quick pressure release. Then, transfer the cooked rice to a large mixing bowl and proceed to wash the Instant Pot.

How to Make Stuffed Peppers Sauce

• Start by pouring 2 tablespoons of oil into the Instant Pot and setting it to Saute Mode. Then, add 1 chopped onion and sauté for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

• In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of tomato and basil marinara sauce, 1 cup of homemade chicken broth, and 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar. After 5 minutes, remove half of the sautéed onion and transfer it to the mixing bowl with the sauce.

How to Make Stuffed Peppers Filling

• Next add sliced bacon to the instant pot and saute with the rest of the onion for 5-7 minutes or until the bacon turns brown, transfer the cooked bacon into a bowl with rice.

• Then add 1 lb ground beef, 2 teaspoons of Steak Spice, ¼ cup of chopped parsley, 3 cloves of finely chopped garlic, 2 teaspoons of sea salt, and ½ teaspoon of black pepper. Mix everything together until well combined.

How to Cook Stuffed Bell Peppers in Instant Pot

• Pour the sauce into the Instant Pot. Then, fill the bell peppers with the meat mixture and place them in the Instant Pot over the sauce. If the bell peppers are tipping over, trim a small amount off the base to help them stand upright.

• Next, cover the Instant Pot, set the steam release to SEALING, and select the meat/stew setting for 10-12 minutes, depending on the size of the bell peppers. Allow the pressure to release naturally for 5 minutes, then perform a quick release and carefully open the lid.

• Afterward, transfer stuffed bell peppers onto a plate with some sauce. Sprinkle with cheese and parsley. Enjoy your meal!
