Chopped Smoked Salmon Salad Bagel Sandwich

Improve your lunch game with this Chopped Smoked Salmon Salad Bagel Sandwich—loaded with creamy goodness, zesty flavors, and a smoky twist, all nestled between a perfectly toasted bagel.

Ingredients:

For the salad:

  • 8 oz smoked salmon

  • 4 oz cream cheese, or to taste

  • 5 slices English cucumber, or to taste

  • 1 small red onion, cut into rings, or to taste

  • 1-2 tablespoons fresh chives, or to taste

  • freshly squeezed lemon juice to taste

  • Salt and pepper to taste

    For the sandwich:

  • 2 bagels, toasted

  • Sliced tomato, avocado, or fried egg (optional)

Instructions:

Prepare the salad: On a cutting board, combine smoked salmon, cream cheese, cucumber, red onion, chives, and lemon juice. Chop with a large knife until well chopped and combined. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

Toast the Bagels: Slice the bagels in half and toast them until they’re golden brown.

Assemble the Sandwich: On the bottom half of each bagel, spoon a generous amount of the smoked salmon salad onto the bagel. If desired, add a slice of tomato, avocado, or fried egg for extra protein. Place the top half of the bagel on the sandwich. Enjoy!
