ROUND UP APPLICATION

The Boise Co-op Round Up program allows customers to give back to the community by rounding up their purchases to the nearest dollar. Each month, we feature a different community organization as the recipient. We match donations 100%, up to $2,500.

This program prioritizes organizations that share our values in these four areas:

  • Local food system development

  • Food nutrition & education

  • Environmental sustainability

  • Community building & inclusion

HOW IT WORKS 

During the selected month, customers are able to Round Up their purchases to the next whole dollar amount, creating an easy way to donate. We track these donations and at the end of the month, tally the donations made at all locations. The Co-op then matches these donations 100%, up to $2,500, and sends this amount to the organization.

Applications are accepted each year in the spring, for the upcoming fiscal year (July through June). If you are not selected in the year that you apply or you miss the deadline, you will need to reapply the following year. There is no waiting list for the program.

WHO CAN APPLY FOR THE ROUND UP PROGRAM

  • Applicants must be local, non-profit organizations serving our community.

  • Organizations who are chosen to be Round Up partners are not eligible for additional donations or sponsorship in the calendar year in which they are chosen. 

  • We will not select organizations that advance a particular religious belief or political cause.

  • We ask that schools, both private and public, direct their donation requests through our Donations Program, found here.

  • We reserve the month of July for our Co-op Community Fund, leaving 11 months available for Round Up recipients.

WHAT WE ASK OF ROUND UP RECIPIENTS

The following things are required of Round Up recipients if they are selected:

  • Promotion of the program during your selected month, via social channels, newsletters, etc.

  • A high-res logo

  • 1-3 high-resolution photos of your organization in action, or the impacts of your work

  • A completed W-9 for tax and payment purposes

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE ROUND UP PROGRAM

The application period to be a Round Up recipient during our next fiscal year of July 2025-June 2026 will open June 1,2025. The deadline to apply is June 15th. Please read through the application in its entirety to ensure you have all the necessary information, as there is no way to save the application for completion at a later date.
