Curbside Pickup FAQs

How does it work?

It’s simple: you place an order online and select your preferred pick up time. We receive the order, shop for you, and let you know when your order is ready for pick up. Call us when you arrive and we bring your order right to your door. Here is how to shop:

  • Go to our online store here

  • Create an account* or sign in with your existing account

  • Select your preferred store location and shop for your favorite groceries

  • Select your preferred pick-up time; you’ll receive a confirmation email when your order is placed

  • You’ll receive a text notifying you when your order is ready

  • When you arrive:

    • Look for the designated “Curbside Pick-Up” parking area 

    • Call us when you arrive and let us know the order number or the name on the order confirmation


*How to create an account

  1. Enter your 8 digit Co-Owner ID in the Account Number field (found on the bottom of your shopping receipt or on the back of your membership card

  2. Click Forgot password

  3. Check the email associated with your Co-op membership and look for the password reset email

Is there a minimum order amount?

Not at this time. 

Is there a fee for pickup?

We are launching the program with free curbside pickup for the introductory period.

Do you offer all of your products online?

We selected our most popular items to launch the program and offer several thousand items. We plan to add more as time goes on. 

Does it reflect current stock levels?

Not at this time--we are hoping to switch to a live inventory in the near future.

What if an item I want is out of stock?

As you shop for each item, you can select the “allow substitutions” button. If this is selected, our shopper will look for a similar item to replace it. If this is not selected, we will skip over the item and you will not be charged.

My very favorite sauce that I have to have to make my very favorite dish is not listed but I know you carry it in the store! Help!

If there is an item you know we carry but is not listed, you can leave it in the order notes (at the checkout screen) and our shoppers will do their best to find that item for you. Please provide the brand, item name, flavor, size, and UPC if possible. 

Can I add special instructions for items?

Yes! For example, let us know you want really ripe bananas or that you don’t want your produce in plastic bags and we’ll do our best to make it happen! Each item has the option to “Add Item Instructions” and this is where you can add notes.

Who does the shopping?

A Co-op employee!

What about reusable bags and containers?

At this time, we are not able to accept reusable containers or bags. 

Can I still get my milk bottle return credit?

Yes--please put in your order notes (at checkout) how many bottles you are returning. When our picker brings your order to your car, they will collect the bottles from you and ensure the correct credit is applied to your bill. 

I’m a member. Can I use my 10% discount?

Yes! Once you login with your member account, the system will associate your purchases with your account. Put a request in your order notes (at checkout) that you want to apply your monthly 10% discount to the order. If you’re not sure you’ve used your discount this month, put this in the notes and our picker will check for you.

I signed up in-store for the 5% membership plan. How does this work?

This 5% charge will not show up on your order total, but it will be automatically added to your order total when you pay upon pickup. This amount will show on your receipt upon final check out. 

Can I return a product?

At this time we are not accepting product returns. If there is a mistake with your order let us know and we’ll be happy to fix it.

Are you planning to add delivery as an option? 

We hope to do so soon! We are not able to offer delivery at this time, but you can order our products for delivery via Instacart. 

What if I’m walking or biking?

Awesome! You can still come to our curbside pick-up area and call us when you arrive. Please put this in your order notes and let us know when you arrive.


What is the turnaround time?

The soonest we can process an order is 2 hours; however, it depends on the volume of orders in the queue. You will see the available time slots when you get ready to check out.

How far in advance can I place an order?

We can take orders up to 7 days in advance.

Are beer and wine available?

Yes, make sure to have your ID and you must choose pay at time of pick up.

Can I use coupons?

Yes--please make a note of them in your order notes. We will gather them from you when you arrive and apply them to you order before we complete your checkout.
