Inspire: Activate Hygge with Essential Oils

The weather is teasing us with an early spring, but it’s still winter for a bit. Time for more Hygge to brighten the drizzle right out of the day. Or at least in your mind. Hygge (hoo-guh) invites us to embrace a cozy, calm and worry-free lifestyle, being mindful and positive in the moment. Boy, don’t we all need that right about now?

Essential oils will improve the quality of your daily experience; it certainly has mine. Give these recipes a try in a diffuser, room spray or applied to the wrist. Let the scent envelop you while you sip a mug of herbal tea and watch the clouds drift by.

Restful Night  

  • 3 drops frankincense 

  • 2 drops lavender

  • 2 drops bergamot 

Inner Sunshine 

  • 3 drops rosemary

  • 3 drops lemon

  • 2 drops clary sage
