Boise State Students Try to Tackle Glass Waste in Boise

Are you frustrated with the glass recycling in Boise? Well, a group of BSU students have an idea they think will help. They are offering a service of collecting, sanitizing, and redistributing glass bottles back to local microbreweries. Reusing bottles will cut down the amount of glass waste in Boise. We need your help in our pilot program by bringing in your used 22oz glass beer bottles. A signed collection bin will be located near the entrance of the North End Boise Co-op from Wednesday, October 12th through Sunday, October 30th.

This is a pilot program. Depending on the success of the trial period, we are hoping this turns into an actual business venture.

The best part is... you can be sustainable by drinking great beer!
