Boise Co-op Sponsoring Meridian Youth Farmer's Market

There is a new Farmer's Market in town, and this one's for the kids. The Meridian Youth Farmer's Market is a new youth-powered project that is working to give kids an opportunity to develop their entrepreneurial skills. We are so excited to be sponsoring the Market this year!

While adults are welcome as vendors, the market's hope is for 75% of the vendors to be children, who will sell produce, arts and crafts. “The Youth Farmers Market gives kids an opportunity to profit from their hobbies, projects and their passions.” Meridian Mayor Tammy de Weerd has said of the project.

The market takes place every Saturday from 9 am to 12 pm through the end of September in front of Meridian City Hall. Stop by our booth and take a spin on our activity wheel! Kids who spin the wheel will either have to solve a riddle or perform an activity and then they can earn a healthy snack!
