Winter Mocktails

Mocktails are a great way to have a refreshing drink that won’t leave you regretting it the next morning. Here are two recipes to wet your whistle and keep you hydrated in the dry winter months.

Hot Not Toddy

  • Yogi Ginger Tea, 1 bag

  • Honey

  • Pinch of cayenne

  • Slice of Lemon

  • Hot Water

Steep the tea in the hot water for 5-10 mins. Squeeze in the lemon, then stir in the honey and a pinch of cayenne to taste.

Spiced Ginger Citrus Sparkler

  • 1 cup fresh-squeezed orange juice

  • 1 lemon cut into wedges (optional reserve one wedge of lemon for garnish)

  • 5 cardamom pods

  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  • 1 can of Buck Snort Ginger Beer (Any ginger beer may be substituted)

  • Crushed Ice

  • lemon wedge (optional, for garnish)

  • orange wheel (optional, for garnish)

In a shaker pour in orange juice, add lemon wedges, cardamon pods, and cinnamon sticks. Use a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon to crush the spices and lemon wedges. Add some ice and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds. Strain and divide the mixture between two glasses. Add some crushed ice and float the top with the ginger beer. Garnish with a lemon wedge and an orange wheel.
