The Caped Co-op Crusaders are tearing up the streets of downtown Boise!

The Boise Twilight Criterium is an annual bike race that takes place in the heart of downtown Boise. Streets close, and thousands of spectators swarm the sidewalks to catch a glimpse of the blurred forms of racers as they speed by. This year, the Boise Co-op is so excited to be participating in the Boise Twilight Criterium. A few of our employees will be racing in Boise GreenBike's 1st Annual Celebrity Bike Race this Saturday from 6:15 - 6:30 pm. If you're coming to watch the races, be sure to give them a cheer! When Glenny the 'Spinstress' Morgan is not swinging by her handlebars from trapeze to trapeze, she is custom-building penny-farthings for all the squirrels of North End Boise. 

Texas transplant Matt Fuxan is 5 time winner of the little-known but widely-grown Tour de Plants, a complicated race involving towing a swather, chasing skunks out of watermelon patches, and a blueberry pie eating contest, among other things.

Marcie 'Road Rash' Hatch is a 3 time Velodrome 'Thunderdome Death Match' survivor. The sight of this two-wheeled terror and chef extraordinaire makes motorcyclists tremble in their boots and muffins shake in their tins.

Women's heavyweight cycling champ Mo Valko is widely known for her underwater cycling prowess. She holds the Guinness Book of World Records for being the first woman over 6 feet tall to cycle the Mariana Trench unassisted by oxygen.
