Meal in Minutes: Honey-Dijon Glazed Steelhead Trout
Ingredients
1/4 cup organic butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp local honey
2 tbsp organic brown sugar
2 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 lbs Steelhead trout*
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Melt butter in a sauce pan with heat on low. Whisk in all ingredients except the fish.
Put the fish in the center of a rectangle of foil. Remove saucepan from stove and pour over fish, folding the foil around the fish to keep the glaze in.
Place in oven and bake for 10 minutes, plus an additional 10 minutes for each inch of thickness (a 1.5" fillet would be 25 minutes)
