Online Posted Content and Comment Policy

Our interactive digital platforms serve as mechanisms for communication between the Boise Co-op, its members, and consumers, and we encourage posted content and commentary on these platforms. This policy describes the terms and conditions under which we may moderate posted content and commentary on our interactive digital platforms.

This policy applies to all online services and sites hosted, managed, or administered by the Boise Co-op. This includes social media sites including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and all other social media sites as well as blogs, websites, discussion forums, and any other sites that accept posted content and commentary, including links, replies, “likes,” “retweets,” “follows,” etc.

By using the Boise Co-op’s interactive digital platforms, you agree to this policy.

Posted content and/or commentary on the Boise Co-op’s interactive digital platforms containing any of the following are not allowed:

  1. Comments in support of or in opposition to political campaigns or ballot measures

  2. Profane language or content

  3. Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability, or sexual orientation

  4. Sexual content or links to sexual content

  5. Advertising, solicitations of commerce, or spam

  6. Conduct or encouragement of illegal activity

  7. Information that may tend to compromise the safety or security of the public or public systems

  8. Content that violates a legal ownership interest of any other party

  9. Impersonation of another individual and/or entity

  10. Racist or obscene content

  11. Potentially libelous content

  12. Personal attacks, insults, harassment, or threatening content

  13. Posting of other individuals’ personal information, including but not limited to, phone number, physical address, financial information, etc.

  14. Repetitive posts of the same content that disrupt the normal operation of the forum

The Boise Co-op may delete any posts and may ban/block any user posting content containing any of the above, or for any other reason, in its sole discretion.

Communications made through the Boise Co-op’s interactive digital platforms in no way constitute a legal or official notice to the Boise Co-op or any representative or employee of the Boise Co-op for any purpose.
