Full Sail

Howdy all,

Tough to empty one's mind of Irish beers this week, but here's an article worth the effort:

I'm inspired to grab six unique lagers and locally recreate. Spoiler: it's no surprise that Full Sail continues to make some of the best lagers in the Northwest if not the entire country.

On shelves now...

Hops, hops, and more hops dominate the shelves as the 10 Barrel DUB Double IPA and No-Li Jet Star Imperial IPA join the bomber set, and the Stone Enjoy By 4/20 IPA arrives at the end of the week.

Speaking of 10 Barrel, our Boise brewer, Shawn Kelso, made it to the Final Four in the National IPA Championship with his SAM IPA. The Brewing News annually sponsors this national event, which focuses on "Hops, not Hoops". I mention all of this as SAM is currently on tap six blocks south of the Co-op... and the Lupulin Trip is outstanding as well - it will be a top 5 beer for me for 2015.

For the cellar...

Full Sail Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout 2015 - still no tasting notes on this vintage, but buy now, tuck away for the holidays, and watch the smiles when you open and share.

From the cellar...

Official Boise Co-op Alefort selections - La Dolce Vita - a brief tour of Italian craft beer, featuring:

We're scheduled to pour @ noon on Sunday, March 29th. Supplies are limited so hit us up early and often.

Local Action

Our Thursday tasting this week features a range of ciders - Normandy's own Manoir du Parc Authentic Poire (pear) and Cider (apple), and Washington's Snowdrift Cider Co. Perry (pear) and Cornice (barrel-aged apple). Thursday tastings run from 4:30-6PM, and we hope to see you there.
