Chile is one of the most exciting, up and coming wine regions in the world. In the past, Chile has struggled to find a middle ground by really only offering entry-level supermarket bulk bargain wines and culty, extremely high end (re: very, very expensive) brands run by moguls from markets like Napa and Bordeaux. Recently, there has been an emergence of quality-minded smaller producers that are emerging in the US market (thanks to thoughtful importers and distributors!), so we're seeing more and more projects that we can't get enough of. The best part? These wines are extremely well valued, meaning they're fit for Sunday night supper AND for Tuesday night Netflix binging. Win win.
