Help us celebrate Idaho Preferred month by joining us at the Retail Roadshow on September 14 in both grocery stores!   September is the peak of harvest season giving consumers a wide variety of seasonal produce options. You know that when you shop locally, you support Idaho! Purchasing Idaho products not only supports Idaho farmers, producers and communities, it also provides fresh, high quality local products for consumers.

During the Idaho Preferred Roadshow, shoppers will be able to:

Boise Co-op Annual Co-Owners Meeting and Community Celebration

Please join us for our Annual Meeting at the Boise Depot! This event is open to all current Co-Owners of the Boise Co-op. It is a great opportunity to meet and interact with Board Members, Co-op staff, and other Co-op Co-Owners and vendors!

This event will feature:

  • Beer and wine (for those 21+ over only)

  • Fall-themed food from our Deli

  • Live music from the Sawtooth Serenaders

  • Gourd-painting activity for kids

  • Face painting

  • Photo booth

  • and more!

2017 Board of Directors Annual Meeting

Please join us for our Annual Meeting at JUMP! This event is open to all current Co-Owners of the Boise Co-op. It is a great opportunity to meet and interact with Board Members, Co-op staff, and other Co-op Co-Owners, as well as meet our new General Manager! 

On the schedule of activities:

  • Spinning Wheel with great prizes
  • Coloring Activity for the kids
  • Community Art Project: Paint the Farm (all are welcome to participate)
  • Videos about the Co-op

  • Cooking Demo: Spring Rolls with Noi

$20 Vaccine Clinic @ The Pet Shop

The Boise Co-op Pet Shop and the Broadway Vet clinic are teaming up to host another affordable vaccine clinic at the Pet Shop! Each shot is just $20. Click the button below to RSVP.

DOG SHOTS:

Distemper/Parvo + Lepto ‘5-way’” combo vaccine
Bordatella (kennel cough) vaccine – injectable or oral
Canine Influenza Vaccines (H2N2 and H2N8)
Rabies Vaccine

CAT SHOTS:

FVRCP (Distemper/Upper Respiratory) Vaccine
Leukemia Vaccine
Rabies Vaccine
This clinic is open to the public. There is no cost to register, but participants will be charged at the time of the clinic based on the number of shots requested.

Please enter the back of the pet shop on Fort Street. Bring Vet records if available. Dogs must be leashed; cats must be in a carrier or on a harness leash. Broadway Vet reserves the right to refuse service to any animal for aggressive or other inappropriate behavior. Broadway Vet and Boise Co-op are not responsible for damage due to animals or customers resulting from the shot clinic.

Join us for an evening with Joel Salatin! We are so excited to welcome Joel Salatin back to Boise. He is a world-renowned farmer and speaker, and we couldn't be more pleased to have him speak at BSU. 

The self-described "lunatic farmer" is coming back to Boise! Joel's talk will focus on disspelling the myth that organic and sustainable agriculture cannot feed the world. 

NOTE: Due to the anticipated popularity of the event, tickets are required for entry.

Polyfaces Film Screening

Boise Co-op is really excited to partner with the Idaho Center for Sustainable Agriculture (ICSA) to bring the documentary film screening of Polyfaces to Boise! This film chronicles 4 years on the beautiful and forward-thinking Polyface Farm in Virginia. 

The movie screening takes place at the Egyptian Theater on Friday, February 5th at 7:00 pm.

Grand Opening at the Village!

It's finally here! We are so excited to open our doors in the Village at Meridian. Join us for a fun weekend and take a tour of our newest location. We will have great samples out everyday from 11 am to 7 pm, and we will be raffling off lots of exciting prizes. Come see us and enter a drawing to win a gift basket of some of our favorite products, or even a $50 gift certificate to the Co-op every month for a whole year! We'll also have fun kids' activities throughout the weekend, including bike-powered smoothies and a shopping bag coloring station.

We'll have free coffee and hot chocolate all weekend long, and the first 100 customers through the door each day receive a free shopping bag and some great samples!

We can't wait to see you there!
