Wine Tasting @ The North End Main Store

We are showcasing some of the Women Winemakers in Idaho this month for First Friday. They will all be 15% off. Come and taste what these talented ladies have to offer.

2016 Ste Chapelle Panoramic Chardonnay, $18.99

Aromas of pears, pineapple and toasty oak give way to flavors of pear, apple and pineapple. The mouth all at once creamy and crisp with a hint of the buttery influence of malo-lactic fermentation. The finish is dry and crisp with lingering fruit flavors. Winemaker, Meredith Smith

2016 Coiled Sidewinder, $28.00

Everything from dark cherry, smoky meat, and forest floor to deep mint and dark chocolate with a hint of caraway seed and dark rye. It is rich and smooth in the mouth, balanced with fruit and earth, as the elegant acidity carry it all the way across your palate. Winemaker Leslie Preston

2016 Colters Creek Tempranillo, $20.00

Delicately aged in French oak, the fruit notes of this Tempranillo shine through. Plum, leather and a hint of smoke. Winemaker Melissa Sanborn

2017 Cinder Dry Viognier, $20.00

The flavors and aromas take you into stone fruit, with white peach and pear featured prominently along with honeysuckle. The body has good weight and the acid gives you a long and luxurious finish. Winemaker Melanie Krause

2016 Clearwater Creek Carmenere, $35.00

Aromas of crushed black pepper, cumin, and Bing cherries are entwined with delicate hints of violets. This wine finishes long with roasted marshmallows and rich tannins. Winemaker Coco Umiker
