We love Argentine wines, such a bang for your buck when it comes to quality, affordable wines. Here are three that we are really excited about, and we will be pouring them this weekend.
2018 Amauta Tannat, $11.99
On the nose, spices with notes of eucaliptus, dark fruits like figs and menthol, followed by intense and ripe fruit, and smooth tannins. Medium-bodied with balanced acidity and long final. It is an intense wine with freshness and complexity.
2012 Susana Balbo Cabernet, $12.99
This wine was a closeout, we only got a couple of cases, so get it before it runs out. Dark, smooth and lush with clean, bright and tangy style; juicy, snappy and pure with deep plum, blackberry and spice; long and dense. 90 point plus scores from five different ratings site.
2016 Anko Malbec, $20.00
"Fascinating wine of stone, slate and berry. Dried mushroom too. Medium to full body, firm and bright. Character. Real wine." 92 Pts James Suckling Also available by the glass in Uncorked Wine Bar!
