At the Tasting Counter in the North End Main Store
For our mid-week tasting, we're sticking with a trio of European wines. First up is an Italian red, the Ausonia Moltepulciano d'Abruzzo, from that country's central coast along the Adriatic. Next, we cross over to France's Burgundy region for a Chardonnay, Clos Noly's Macon Charnay. Last up is a wine from from a Mediterranean island once claimed by Italy, but now a part of France, Corsica. That region's Domaine Vetriccie Ile de Beaute Rouge is a blend of two native grapes (Niellucciu & Sciaccarellu), along with Merlot and Syrah. Should be a fun one.
