Cookin' With Kids: Healthy After-School Snacks

School is in session, and the kids are HUNGRY!  Instead of handing them crackers or a sugary granola bar, give them something homemade that’s yummy and nutrient-dense.  We’ll make No-Bake Grain-Free Energy Bites (with nuts) and Mexican Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding.  Both recipes are grain-free and dairy-free. This will be a hands-on class where the kids will be doing the cooking, guided in small groups by our instructor, Kendy Radasky.

Adults are free with paid kid’s registration.  Each child requires a purchased ticket.

Kendy's classes all include a focus on how to cook and eat well with kids who have food sensitivities.  Most recipes are gluten-free and dairy-free, and some are also egg-free, nut-free, and/or grain-free.  Ongoing, monthly series at the Co-op.
