Get Your Greens In with this Kale Orange Smoothie!

If your goal is to get healthier this New Year, check out this smoothie recipe. With minimal ingredients, it's easy to make, yet packed with wonderful nutrients like Vitamin C, calcium, and dietary fiber.


  • 2 organic navel oranges, peeled

  • 2 handfuls organic lacinato kale

  • 2 ripe organic bananas, peeled

  • 2 cups water (use ice for a chilly smoothie, or try coconut or almond milk to make it creamy)


  1. Add oranges to blender and blend until juice.
  2. Add your liquid of choice along with kale until kale is liquid.
  3. Cut bananas into 2" chunks and add to blender.
  4. Blend on lower speed until banana has incorporated, then increase blending speed until desired consistency is reached.
